Getting Married Between the Application and Interview Process

My mother is a permanent resident and applied for my brother in 2010. When she applied for my brother, he was unmarried. We received approval letter from NVC for his interview. Since he is married now do you think is there any problem?

Because of his marriage, the person applied for- your brother has “aged out” as a unmarried child over 21. Unfortunately that information, when discovered and declared to the consulate will not allow him to complete his residency process.

Kindly set up time in case you have more questions.
