Got Biometric Appointment For B2 Extension, I Already Left The US; What To Do?

         Question:

I had applied for B2 extension in July 2020 until Jan 2021. As I did not hear back from USCIS, I returned to Canada few days before my I94 end date. I received a notice from USCIS for appointment with ASC for biometrics on June 29, 2021. I am not in USA anymore. DO I need to contact USCIS to cancel the appointment ?

Yes, please cancel your appointment and keep a copy of all your records for the extension and reentry as a visitor. Please do not enter the US for as long as you have stayed abroad.
