HOW LONG DO I NEED WORK FOR EMPLOYER A BEFORE GOING TO EMPLOYER B?

         Question:

I just received my EB2 (PD:12/2009) based Green Card a few weeks back. However, at this time, I am no longer with the original sponsoring employer-A & had switched jobs back in 2017 using AC21 to employer-B. My question is – how long do I have to be here at Employer B before I can take up any other better opportunity in a similar field since I am anyways no longer employed with employer A who sponsored my Green Card in the first place?

Answer: 

We use 6 months as a mark to make judgments on the bonafides of an offer. Your employer B is your current employer based on whose I-485J you have your green card. 180 days please.
