IS THE 60 DAY H1B GRACE PERIOD ONLY GOOD FOR ONE TIME

Question:

Hi Pallavi,

I used my 60 days grace period and moved to India last year July 2019. Later got recruited to a firm from India and moved to USA in Last November. A new I-797 was issued. Will my clock for the 60 days grace period reset? Or I have to count the previously taken days?

Answer: 

It’s a one-time use of the grace period if it has been argued. If its not been used- then it’s able to be used again. Looks like if you left the country, then its not been used, so you could use it again.
