As per the USCIS Website as updated on June 17, 2020, the following Offices are closed or have temporarily changed hours. At present USCIS locations are not accepting walk-in visits at this time. One has to schedule appointment before arriving at a USCIS office:
- Update Relating to the Dallas Field Office
Recently Dallas Field office was closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19, also the Dallas field office had stopped receiving the mails. But based on a recent update the Dallas Field Office has begun conducting naturalization ceremonies on Thursday (06/11/2020) in the parking lot of the Dallas Field Office. N-400 interviews also resumed on June 15, 2020 at the Dallas Field Office. The number of interviews scheduled daily will be significantly reduced because of the recent closure. Mail deliveries also resumed on June 12, 2020, but there were some delays in the mail delivery.

- Asylum Offices
Newark office is closed due to facilities issues. USCIS asylum offices will not be open for walk-in assistance or for non-interview inquiry appointments until further notice. Asylum offices will only be open to individuals appearing for previously scheduled interview appointments. Please contact the asylum offices by email, mail, or phone. Contact information for each asylum office is found using the Asylum Office Locator. If you have an asylum application pending with us, you can check your case status online.
