Question: Myself and wife applied N400 6 months back when we completed 5 years on our GC. We are in the queue now. My daughter turned 18 years last month. I am planning to apply for her N400 now. Will she be in regular 18 month queue for N400 or is there a way to expedite her processing if we wait for us to get passport or hire your services etc.
Answer: She will be in a new queue when she files. You have to wait for the filing. If she was under the age of 18, once you obtained citizenship, she would have just filed directly for the certificate of citizenship.
