CAN I USE MY AP/EAD TO ENTER THE COUNTRY?

Hi Pallaviji, I am currently in US on H-1B and have EAD with advance payroll card from my husbands Green Card application. For some family matters, I need to travel to India but not able to book the appointment for visa stamping due to lack of dates. My question is that if I travel to India, can I come back on EAD with advance payroll? Will it impact my H-1B? Are there any risks traveling on advance payroll? My husbands priority date is September 2012 in EB2 if that helps. We are done with biometrics and waiting for GC application to process.

Attorney Mrs. Pallavi Ahluwalia’s response: You can enter the country on the AP (advance parole) but still use your H-1B to work and maintain that by extending it.
