GOT GREEN CARD FROM EMPLOYER A JUST GOT A BETTER OFFER FROM EMPLOYER B. HOW LONG DO I NEED TO STAY WITH EMPLOYER A?

Hi Pallavi,I am working for my current employer for last 9 years. They sponsored my GC and it got approved on 7/12/21. Now, I have a job offer with better role and salary from another company. Is it ok to switch the company in 2 months after getting GC for me?

Answer: 

I know that you have worked for a while but the most cautious and conservative approach would be to wait for 180 days from the date of the approval of the green card. Thanks
