New Policy Guidance on Noncompliance with EB-5 Regional Center Program

USCIS has issued policy guidance on noncompliance with the EB-5 Regional Center program. An EB5 investor must carefully select regional center entities to work with, from the USCIS approved list of EB5 Immigrant Investor Regional Centers. (To see the USCIS approved EB5 Investment Centers for your state please refer to https://www.uscis.gov/working-in-the-united-states/permanent-workers/employment-based-immigration-fifth-preference-eb-5/eb-5-immigrant-investor-regional-centers/approved-eb-5-immigrant-investor-regional-centers/.).

Entities that fail to comply with this policy can face terminations, debarments and sanctions. This has become a point of interest for the USCIS in an effort to prevent threats to national interest, fraud and criminal misuse of funds.
