CAN I FILE FOR EAD WITH A CURRENT GREEN CARD PRIORITY DATE

Question:

Hi
I am on H1b and my green card priority date is November 2016 in EB2 category with company A. I recently moved out of company A and joined Company B. Now my question is if my date becomes current or I fall in the criteria where I can apply for EAD.
1) Can I still do being with company B?
2) For applying I-485 do I need to be working with Company A? Do I need perm for it with company B?

Answer: 

1. Have to file with the employer who holds the I-140 approval.
2. Working for the employer filing your I-485J is recommended.
3. You could also do a PERM and I-140 approval with the current employer.
