My mom came here in January 2020 and we filed an extension for her in June 2020. We have a receipt but no decision response as of yet. I filed for her green card in August 2020 along with the I-485 with finger prints. She will be done close to one year and both her cases still show pending, do I need to file the extension again or should just wait.
Answer:
You will just have to wait for the green card related filing to proceed. There is no point of a B2 extension once an adjustment of status has been filed.
