DOES THE NEW I-539 BIOMETRIC RULE APPLY IN MY CASE?

Hi Pallavi . I applied for H4 EAD along with H4 Extension first time after my spouse I-140 approval . Is biometric applicable in my case as Biometric suspended by H4 extension these days . If your answer is yes , then after how many days of filing , I will get appointment ?

Attorney Mrs. Pallavi Ahluwalia’s response: If you applied for your H4 before the rule changed about biometrics, then they would receive them. We don’t know how much notice the USCIS gives – it is anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. But the assessment depends on when the H4 was applied for. Thanks
