USCIS Announces Expansion of myProgess Program to Form I-765 and Form I-131

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that they’re expanding myProgress (formerly known as personalized processing times) to Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and Form I-131, Application for Travel Document.

The myProgress program giving users insight as to estimated wait times for select U.S. immigration steps is expanding to Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and Form I-131, Application for Travel Document. Through an applicant’s online account, users see estimates personalized to their filing for possible wait times for major milestones in processing, including a final case decision. It’s critical to remember these are estimated dates and not guarantees. As such, estimates may over or underestimate the actual processing timeline.

The myProgress program is currently available for individuals who file:

  • Form N-400, Application for Naturalization,
  • Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, or
  • Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative.

Individuals must create a USCIS online account to view estimated timelines or log into their account and select their pending application. If the form is e-filed or linked using an online code, details are shown under the myProgress tab for that application. The information shown in the myProgress tab includes:

  • Confirmation of receipt,
  • Biometrics appointment completion status, if required, and
  • The decision on the pending case.

Individuals must view the Check Case Processing Times webpage to confirm eligibility if filing an Outside of Normal Processing Times request.
