NO H1B STAMP BUT HAVE APPROVED EAD/AP CARD

Question:

I last entered US with a L2 status on January 2013 and did a Change of Status to H1B same year in October. Have been on a valid H1B since then. I never got an H1B stamp as I never left the US since my last entry.  If I receive my Green Card EAD with AP and travel to India do I still need to get the H1B stamp or can I re-enter using the EAD-AP card? Also, if I do go for stamping and H1B is denied can I still re-enter using AP?

Answer:

You are able to enter without stamping as long as the AP/EAD is approved.
